AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor can work with your Edge Impulse projects directly. They can upload and relabel data, train and test models, export deployments, and write the application code that runs them on a device.

Agent skills

Browse the catalog of skills that teach an agent the Edge Impulse platform and common hardware targets.

Agent setup

Point your agent at this page and it connects itself to your project.

Quick start

Paste this prompt into your agent:

Follow https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/agents/setup.md to connect to my Edge Impulse project.

The agent installs the full Edge Impulse skills catalog, asks you to set your API key and project ID in your shell, and checks the connection. You create the key in Studio and set it yourself, so it never appears in the conversation.

Documentation for agents

The docs follow the llms.txt convention, so an agent can find and read them without parsing the website:
  • /llms.txt is the root index. It links to one index per section and lists common tasks with the pages to read for each.
  • /llms-full.txt is the complete index in a single file.
  • Add .md to any page URL to get the page as markdown, for example https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/agents/setup.md.
